Wellicht een van de meest belangrijke tips die ik je kan meegeven als je een blog opzet is: zoek een nauwe en gespecialiseerde niche.
Een niche is een bepaalde markt of sector waarop jij je exclusief richt.
Dit kan bijvoorbeeld zijn: tandartsen in Amsterdam, of vastgoedbedrijven in Luxemburg.
Het idee is om je blog niet te schrijven voor iedereen, maar wel alleen voor die niche.
De voordelen hiervan zijn erg belangrijk:
Je komt over als een expert, want je spreekt een bepaalde markt aan en kan dus meer gedetailleerde en accurate informatie verschaffen
Je hebt weinig competitie, want er zijn duizenden blogs die voor tandartsen schrijven, maar hoeveel zijn er die specifiek voor tandartsen in Amsterdam schrijven?
Je kan erg makkelijk aan marketing doen, want je weet precies voor wie je schrijft en (soms) waar die zich bevinden
Je publiek is veel meer geneigd om jouw mening te delen en dus je producten te kopen, of je suggesties te volgen
Nu, wat ik wel moet benadrukken is de nood om een NAUWE niche te zoeken, of zoals ik het noem: een dubbele niche, een subsectie van een breed onderwerp, gericht op een specifiek publiek.
Eens je wat succes begint te halen met je blog, kan je ervoor kiezen om die te schalen via de volgende methodes.
